ABOUT

Lauren Januhowski is an American textile artist who blends autobiographical narratives with women's stories. She creates works by assembling monotype-printed, embroidered, and woven fabrics inspired by family traditions and American quiltmaking practices. Her colorful layers evoke emotional and physical depth, bringing to life characters shaped by everyday life and community. A graduate of Cooper Union (2015) and the École des Arts Décoratifs of Paris (2020), she exhibits internationally.
